The Third Elimination
Tuesday, November 3, 2009
Twelve women came into the panel room, each wearing their brand new clothes.
"Hello everyone." Don said. "You all look quite lovely. I hope you are enjoying your gifts."
"We love them!" they chorused back.
"It's now time for the rose ceremony... or the elimination."
"The first rose goes to a girl who opened up to me, and impressed me far more than anyone else did this week. She's kindhearted and compassionate, and I've had the pleasure of getting to know her closely. And that's Tiffanie."
"This next girl is just fun to be around. Will you accept this rose, Brianne?"
"Yeah!" Brianne exclaimed, stomping over. "Thank you so much."
"The same is true for the next girl. Kara!" Don yelped.
"Ah!" she yelped, bobbing her head.
Don pulled out the fourth rose. "Taylor."
"Whew!" She wiped her hand across her forehead, looking relieved.
"This next girl gave me an extremely enjoyable time on our date. Meg, will you accept this rose?"
"Yes!" Meg nearly shouted, causing everyone to laugh appreciatively.
"The next name I'm going to call... is Vita! You have not gone unnoticed."
"Will you accept this rose... Taryn?" Don asked, smiling at her.
"Congratulations." Don said.
"Sharon, get down here!" Don said, whipping out a rose. "I want you here another week!"
"WHOOO!" she said, and joined the others. "By the way, I love my dress! I think it's such a great color for my skin!"
Eight girls had now been called, leaving just Wendy, Hilda, Chanel, and Remy.
"The ninth name I'm going to call... is Remy."
"Oh... just... I'm sorry!" she stuttered, stumbling over.
"The reason you were called so late today is because of your ongoing fights with Hilda. It's ridiculous, and needs to cease immediately."
"I promise it'll stop!"
"Congratulations. You're still in the running toward becoming my fiance."
Don pulled out another rose. "The same goes for Hilda."
"Yeah, baby!" she called out, swooning.
"Okay." Hilda nodded, taking her spot.
"Will Wendy and Chanel please step forward?" Don sadly said.
"Two amazing girls stand before me. But I only have I rose left, and the girl who does not receive one must immediately go downstairs, pack your bags, and go home."
"I would have never thought that Wendy and Chanel would be here this early. You both started out so strong. Wendy. You're here because of our terrible date. I did not have fun, and if I'm going to be spending the rest of my life with you, that's very important. You were awkward and hard to talk to."
"Chanel. I was very upset to find out how you acted this morning, and all week. A bad attitude is one thing, but put on top of that the fact that you were ungrateful, and downright rude!? I picked that specific outfit for you, and do you want to know why? Because I thought it suited your bright and vibrant personality, and I know you like to show a little skin. So I was very ashamed to hear the things you said."
"So what do I do? Do I pick the girl who had a bad date, or the girl who had a bad attitude? Of your two faults... there is something that can be worked on..."
"And that's why I choose Chanel."
Chanel let out a deep breath as Wendy began to cry. "Oh, Don!" Chanel cried, accepting her rose.
"It is!" Chanel sniffled, wiping her nose. She turned and hugged Wendy.
"Well, thanks for everything." Wendy said in a diminished voice, and walked out, silently wiping her tears.

Day 6 Morning: The Suprise!
Monday, November 2, 2009
The rest of the girls were in the dining hall, waiting for their suprise. This was where, of course, gossiping commenced.
"You know, I'm sorry," Taylor started, "But Meg is just way too old for Don. What if he wants a lot of kids? She'd have trouble doind that at 30, wouldn't she?"
"Well, Kara's twenty." Brianne said fairly. "That's just as bad!"
"Well, you're only twenty- hang on... what's the number after twenty?" Kara said, counting fingers.
"Are you serious right now!?" Brianne asked. "I'm twenty-one!"
Soon everyone was arguing about age, when the door burst open with a bang. Standing in the doorway was a man with a gun.
**Brianne, 21- thank you very much- "If that's the suprise, then someone needs to have a little chat with Don about how to treat a girl. Just saying. I thought we were about to be robbed, or raped... or murdered!"
Dramatic music played as the man stepped in. "Hello ladies! Don't be alarmed."
"Oh, I wasn't!" Sharon said, picking herself off the floor and back into the chair she toppled out of.
**Sharon, 26- "I'm really frightened of loud noises, okay!?!"
The contestants gathered around him.
"I'm not just any crazy man with a gun." The man stated. "I'm a stylist!"
"A stylist?" Chanel asked, cocking her head.
"Well, Don wanted to give each of you a gift, and not just any gift, a personalized one. So he picked twelve outfits that he thought suited your personalities. I'm here to give them to you! So each of you line up for your outfit."
Kara was first. She stood in front of the man, and he aimed his gun at her. "Omigosh!" she said, and he handed her her outfit.
"Oh, wow!" Kara exclaimed, now changing into her dress. "It's so pretty and expensive looking."
Brianne recieved her shirt and pants.
**Brianne, 21- "Now that's more like it!"
One by one each girl got their outfits and tried it one. There was a general contentment with most of them.
**Wendy, 23- "I love my new dress! It's so cute, it's so me, and it matches my favorite hat!"
Others were not so satisfied. "I look like a hooker!" Hilda walked around, trying out her new look. "What was he thinking?"
"The right way." Remy muttered. Tiffanie giggled.
Chanel, however, was very upset. Examining each girl's outfit, she stared at her own shorts and tank top.
"This is it? Are you sure?" she complained, asked repo man. "it's a hideous pink color!"
"That's it!" Repo man said.
"What kind of a girft is this!?" Chanel yelled angrily, throwing it down on the ground. "It's not fair! You guys got such nice outfits! I get this crap?!"
**Tiffanie, 25- "Uh-oh. That was not a good idea on Chanel's part. I was really appalled. I mean, I did have a great outfit, but still, to be that upset? How selfish. I hope it doesn't come back to haunt her."
Five minutes later, the man had the girls, even Chanel, in front of him in their outfits. At that same time, Don and Meg walked in. They could see Meg was already in her new outfit.
"Hello, don't you all look nice!" Don exclaimed.
"Yes." Don said. "Panel starts right now."
**Remy, 24- "Oh. My. Goodness!"

Day 6- Meg's Date
Thursday, October 29, 2009
Meg hopped into Don's car and avoided the jealous looks thrown to her by all the other contestants.
**Meg, 30- "Well it's not my fault they didn't win the challenge. I want to be nice, but at the end of the day, I'm out for myself in this."
They drove through "downtown" Riverblossom Hills and arrived at the restaurant, Blossom Boulevard.
**Meg, 30- "When I got out of the car, I was already nervous. This could make or break me! And then I was just how magnificent the restaurant was and those nerves were magnified by a thousand."
They sat at their table and began the date.
"It's great to get to know you, Meg." Don started.
"You too. I've been so excited for this afternoon, actually."
"So what is your favorite childhood memory?" Don asked."Oh... um... er... OH!" Meg fumbled. "It was in fifth grade, around Christmas. My date worked alot when I was little, and had missed almost every Christmas..." Meg recovered nicely and finished her story.
"Aw!" Don said, laughing and having a good time. "I have a funny story about that..."
When it came to ordering, however, Meg was again at a loss for words."Um... I'll have... no wait... yes... the lime seared... no... gee." Meg grimaced, aware that Don was watching her every move.
**Meg, 30- "Okay. Here's what happened: I really wanted to pick a food that would make me look good, like I ate healthy, cared about nutrients, but also one that wouldn't say, total bore. I also wanted to pick a flattering food, one I wouldn't spill or make a mess of. It was such a predicament."
However, toward the end, the few slip ups were cast aside, and they really enjoyed each other's company.
"Thanks for a great lunch!" Don said, pulling Meg in for a quick kiss. "I had fun."
"Me too!" Meg gasped, heaving a huge sigh of relief.

Evening, Day 5, and Morning, Day 6

Day 5 Evening
Taryn, Wendy, Vita, Brianne, and Sharon were in a heated discussion about their dates, and who they thought Don had kissed.
"Well," Taryn exclaimed, "If he's kissed anyone, i think it would be Taylor. Don's really infatuated with her."
Kara was walking by. Overhearing, she said. "Hey Taryn! Don does not think that Taylor is fat." she walked away, and sat down to play a game of don't wake the llama by herself.
"I had a good date with Don." Vita said. "I think."
"Oh Vita, always doubting yourself." Sharon said.
"I know..." Vita moped.
"My date was a horror." Wendy confided in the girls. "I smashed into him... and oh god, it was terrible." Wendy was distraught.
**Vita, 26- "I do feel bad about Wendy's date going so badly. She's a great girl."
"I also think that Don would have kissed Brianne. He's like in love with you!" Taryn told Brianne.
"Yeah, your so winning right now." Sharon said.
"I agree." Wendy added.
"Aw, thanks girls." Brianne said. "But my date wasn't that good. We're not that into each other yet. Hopefully soon we will bring things, er, up a notch." she concluded modestly.
**Brianne, 21- "Okay, so I lied. My date was fantastic!!! But a little white lie never hurt anybody. They're so nice, and since their dates didn't go too well I felt bad saying how amazing mine was."
At that moment, Kara yelled loudly across the room, "THIS GAME IS TOO HARD!!" and ran confusedly from them all.
That night, they all slept soundly in their beds, pictures hanging above them.
Day 6: Morning
Each girl snoozed quietly. But not for long. At approximately 5:30 the next day, Hilda's alarm clock went off, buzzing loudly.
"What time is it no- no- no- now?" Chanel said, failing to stifle a huge yawn.
"5:30!!!" Meg said, neatly hopping out of bed.
"NO!!" Chanel pulled her back. "C'mon, it's not worth it.
By this time others had gotten out of bed, and had taken interest in the fight brewing.
"Just... a warning." Meg said friendly to Hilda. "Watch what you do... I don't want the girls attacking anyone anymore."
"Whateva, honey." Hilda said, smiling at Meg.
**Meg, 30- "Gulp. I'm sick of all this trouble. I'd better stop it."
Chanel and Taylor were chatting animately about their exercise routines, and Tiffanie and Vita were fast becoming good friends. Funnily enough, Hilda sat alone.
When everyone was done, Donald had an announcement. "Well, girls, Meg and I will be leaving you. We have a date to attend. While we're gone I have a very special suprise planned for you... enjoy."
