Day 11- Dance Like There's No Tomorrow

Saturday, December 26, 2009

The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and the afternoon was just beginning, but for the bachelorettes that meant only one thing: the challenge, where the stakes had never been higher.

The stress was taking its toll on some of the contestants, most notably the highly irritable Taylor.

"Watch where you're going, Chanel! That's the second time you walked into me!"

Chanel burst into tears, sobbing into her hands.

**Chanel, 28- "This ish jub soo nerfwoss right nowb!"

"All right, ladies?" Don asked.

**Meg, 30- "Well some girls are crying, but I'm having a blast! This is really so exciting. I mean, I'm all dressed up, and I'm wearing hair extensions, for goodness sake!"

"Girls, take your places. The show is beginning soon!" Don called out.

They scrambled to take their spots, and fell silent. Soon the other guests chatter had subsided as well.

Don resumed. "I am very pleased to welcome two special guests with us today, here to help us host the show.
Riverblossom Hills, please welcome Saleisha Pace and Bridget Sullivan, season one contestants!"
The crowd went wild, but Kara turned to Brianne and whispered, "Who are they? Just some reality show contestants? How silly!"

Brianne rolled her eyes and smacked her head. "Kara, if we lose because of you, you're dead!"

"All right everyone, time to kick this competition into gear!" Bridget told everyone."Our first group of girls really know how to shake it. Dancing to the Hula is Taylor Wadell, Tiffanie Zahradka, and Meg Short!"

The they started, and it was clear that they knew what they were doing.

However, toward the end, each girl spun around, but Tiffanie forgot her steps!

"Thank you, thank you!" Saleisha said as they finished. "That was very relaxing. Our next group of girls, dancing Three Lakes very own slap dance, is Taryn Kramer, Brianne Catalano, and Kara Meade!"

They started, slapping and yelled, Brianne still worried Kara would ruin it all.

Luckily the three of them had found their niche and they did a fantastic job.

Toward the end Kara did get a little funky, but luckily few noticed.

**Taryn, 29- "That was so... so... exhilarating! I had so much fun, and we did great! Finally, I'm coming back!"

"Last, but certainly not least," Bridget told them. "We have our final bachelorettes!"

"Dancing to the very popular smustle, give it up for Vita Duva, Remy Geller, and Chanel Thompson!" Saleisha said.

Things began a little shakily especially for Chanel. She was still disoriented from being so stressed. Unfortunately, she only made things worse for herself.
She forgot steps. Luckily she picked it up and soon no one could stop them... no one except Vita.
On their final steps, Vita, who had always been very self conscious, lost control and fell over, and had a hard time recovering. She blushed and stood there awkwardly while Chanel and Remy finished.

"Oh well, thanks girls!" Bridget said. "Nice job."

"They stunk!" Saleisha whispered, accidentally into the microphone.

"Thank you Bridget and Saleisha!" Don cried to the crowd. "This has been a fun afternoon, but its about to get a lot less funner."

"It's time for a surprise elimination."

DUN DUN DUN.

Day 11- Heating Up

Sunday, December 20, 2009

Day 11 began, and with it, the nine girls fresh ambition to steal Don's heart.

**Taylor, 24- "Honestly, people freaking out at me needs to stop. Meg is such a little jerk for telling Don about me. It's not about him. It's about us. To think, I was almost eliminated! I HATE HER SO MUCH! And I'm getting revenge!"

Everyone was getting ready for breakfast, eager to get to the next challenge that lay ahead that afternoon.

**Taryn, 29- "Whew. So I was in the bottom two last night, and let me tell you, it was just... terrible.
It's the scariest thing. My heart was pounding so hard, and I really thought it was going to be me... oh gosh, I'm so happy to still be here!"

Breakfast was a happy affair for most of the bachelorettes, all except for one somber resident, Tiffanie.

**Tiffanie, 25- "Well of course it's great to be called early every week, but unfortunately I'm missing my friend. *Cries* Sharon was my best friend in the whole house, ever since the first five minutes. I was really sad to see her go. She was a wonderful person."

Over at one table, Kara was amusing Tiffanie, Vita, and Taylor with her efforts to eat cereal with a knife.

"This is too hard." Kara moaned, dipping it in.

Meanwhile, Remy, Meg, and Taryn were enjoying the benefits of eating with Don.

"What's your favorite evening?" Don asked them all.

"A romantic night in, just watching movies and talking." Taryn smiled. "We'd-" Remy cut across her.

"Oh, I like a night on the town!" Remy sighed. "I'd get all dressed up, and he would bring me flowers -something expensive, none of this carnation crap- and-"

Meg answered this time. "I would love a walk on the beach, hand in hand, a cute candlelit dinner-"

"It was my turn!"

"Mine!"

"It was neither of yours, it was mine!"

Don was amused.

Midway through breakfast, Don stood up. Chatter ceased immediately, and Kara's cry of, "Are you sure this is a spoon, guys?" rang out.

"Thank you." Don began. "Shortly after this meal we will meet outside, where you will receive the instructions for your next challenge."

After that there was a mad scramble to go upstairs and get ready. Don, with a little help from Remy, stayed behind to talk and clean up.

* * * *

They met on the lawn at eight.

**Vita, 26- "I'm an easily excited person, and the thought of the next challenge is getting me excited!"

"Attention bachelorettes!" Don started. He held a hat in front of him "Right now, please pick a number, and then read it out loud."

All of the girls did so, with cries of "THREE!" and "Did you get this one? Yeah!"

Soon they had been split into three teams of three.

"If you haven't guessed, today you will be... dancing!" Don announced. "It's a competition, set on a stage, and fans of the show will be watching. I will pick a winning team, and a winning member. Each team will get a different dance to learn, and a different costume."

"Here we go..."

"Team 1, doing the Hula, is Taylor, Meg, and Tiffanie."

"Team 2, with the Slap Dance, is Taryn, Kara, and Brianne."

"Team 3, performing the Smustle, is Vita, Chanel, and Remy. Now get on your costumes!"

"You will be judged on how well you dance, how well you work together, and most importantly, (and I cannot stress this enough) how your personality is shown, through hard work, determination, and fun."

**Chanel, 28- "I dunno what he's talking about, but this should be a piece of cake."

"One more thing..." Don added. "As soon as the challenge is over, and I pick the winner, there will be an elimination."

Every contestant was shocked.

"No date, no panel, no second chance... you're going home."

Day 9- A Race to The Finish

Monday, November 30, 2009

**author's note: This one is long! I hope you enjoy it though, and are able to easily follow the teams of girls as they race through the city. I based it largely off the amazing race format, but it's much simpler and the race is only one quick leg. Have fun!

The girls got out of the car and entered Go Here Sunshine Park. They assembled themselves into the teams.

"Alright, ladies." Don approached them. "Welcome to the ultimate challenge, which two of you will win. It's a race across all downtown has to offer. Starting here, you each have eight places to locate. You will find a clue to your next location tied to a boquet of flowers there. Then you will proceed to the finish line, where I will be waiting for the winners. The first team to meet me at the finish with all eight bouquets wins!"

"Bachelorettes ready... GO!"

There was a lot of screaming and shouting while ten deranged women ran down the street toward Oresha Family Dining, the first location. Soon most of the teams had burst into the small establishment, combing each area from head to foot.

"I found ours!" Tiffanie yelled, pulling Sharon over.

"YES! Let's go!" Sharon shouted, and they ran down the street toward Midnight Flows. At that same moment, Taryn and Vita came huffing into the restaurant, desperate and already in last.

Soon Remy and Meg found theirs.

"Hey... this bouquet is ours!" Taryn exclaimed delightedly, and she and Vita jumped from 5th to 3rd as they ran out, with Taylor and Kara hot on their heels.

"Crap, crap crap!" Brianne and Chanel wailed. It took them a precious five minutes to find their clue, and they were the last team to leave. Sprinting out of the diner, they luckily found a cab immediately, and raced to the next location.

"HA!" Brianne called to the other teams jogging down the block as they passed them. Chanel and Brianne flung themselves from the cab, hastily paying the driver in the form of Chanel throwing a twenty at him. They collided with Tiffanie and Sharon at the door, but it was Chanel who found their bouquet first, and they took the lead.
"Out of the way!" Brianne squealed, trying to catch her partner.

Taylor and Kara hit the scene. "Move it, girls!" Taylor screamed, shoving Chanel and Brianne backwards.

"Oh hell no, sweetie!" Chanel cried angrily. "Don't disrespect us like that, honey!"

**Taylor, 25- "Chanel scares me. A lot."
"Yeah." Brianne stuck with her partner. "Since Don isn't here, you decide to be rude to everyone. You're a fake-"

"Enough, Bri, let's get outta here." Chanel sailed out, grabbing Brianne by the wrist.

By now each team was seperated.

"Oh, no!" Meg remarked to Remy at Comandgo Emporium. "Our next stop is Fresh Rush Grocery, and that's miles away. We're going to have to call a cab."

"This is a disaster." Remy wrung her hands, pacing, while Meg placed a frantic call to a harassed sounding cab driver.
"Do we even have enough money? Or should we try to make it on foot?" she wailed.

Over at Sim Center North, in dead last, Kara and Taylor ran this way and that, searching to no avail for a bouquet and clue that seemed to not exist. They began to get very frustrated. To make matters worse, while running over the bridge, Kara tripped and fell, sprawling into mud.

"EURGH!" Kara yelled, falling backward. Taylor ran over, crying. "This is such a joke! If it weren't for stupid Chanel..."

"Honestly, you can't blame everything on her." Kara said, playfully throwing some mud at her. "Hahaha!"

Taylor screamed, a blood curdling yell that made everyone in the park turn around, shaken.
Meanwhile, Vita and Taryn arrived, and immediately found their flowers and clue.

"That's it!" Vita cried, and dashed across the park, while Taryn followed, gasping and sputtering, and fell to the ground. "Vita!" she called.

"Oh, no, hurry get up! Taylor and Kara are here, Tar! Don't let them see us!"

"I don't feel so good..." Taryn wheezed.

"We can win this! Come on!" Vita called hopefully. "Let's just call a cab. Hmmmm..." Vita checked the clue. "Make your way over to Deja Vu Modern Art Museum and search for your next clue. C'mon, Taryn, get up!"

Night had fallen, but each of the girls still had places to visit.

Brianne and Chanel soon located their final destination, similar sights sculpture park.

"Oohh..." Brianne approached a funny statue. "My mother would love this."

"Shut up and look over there!" Chanel told her, and they ran to the middle of the park. "I think its right-"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" they screamed in shock as flames shot up from several sculptures.

"Omigosh what's happening?! Don't kill me!" Brianne called into the night.
"Stop being such a drama queen, Bri." Chanel snapped, snatching their clue off the bouquet and reading it aloud. "This is your final clue. Make your way over to Lost In Love Hedge Maze and find Don!"
"Yes!" Brianne cheered.

Meanwhile, Taylor and Kara were finishing up, as they arrived at The Corner Shoppes.

Looking at a site map, Kara and Taylor (both heavily coated in mud) bickered over possible locations of their final bouquet.
"This place is huge!" Taylor moaned, wiping mud off of her forehead. "We'll never find it!" As they continued to fight, Tiffanie and Sharon emerged from one of the stores holding their clue.
"Hey ladies!" Sharon squealed as they hailed a taxi.

Finally, on the roof of Maple Springs pool and spa, Meg and Remy hit the jackpot.

"LOOK LOOK LOOK!" Remy squealed with joy, grabbing their final bouquet. "This is the last one!"

"Great teamwork, partner!" Meg said, and they high fived. "Now let's get to the maze!"

* * * *

At this point the three teams of Tiffanie and Sharon, Meg and Remy, and Brianne and Chanel were making their way toward the final location, and the drama was unfolding at Lost in Love Hedge Maze.

"This is it!" Sharon delightedly hugged Tiffanie as they arrived first. They bolted into the maze. "We're still winning!"

"This will be a piece of cake!" Tiffanie smiled, and they dove in. Unfortunately, it proved to be very complicated, and they were soon lost and fighting.

"This is not happening, not now!" Sharon threw her hands up in frustration, while Tiffanie thoughtfully scanned the maze with her eyes.

"It's not over, 'til its over, Sharon."
"But I need to win this date to stay in the competition, Tiff!" Sharon began to cry.
Back on the street, Brianne and Chanel's taxi was lost.
"You've got to be kidding me!" Chanel seethed as they went in circles.
"Screw it." Brianne decided, hopping out at a red light. "We can make it on foot, it's only two blocks away!"

By this time Remy and Meg had found the maze and had fought their way through most of the confusing hedges.

"Hold on, hold on... is that?" Remy and Meg peered over the top of the bushed to see Don standing a few yards away, next to a beautiful statue.

"We're out WE"RE OUT! REMY REMY?! HURRY!" Meg screamed, as they skidded around a corner, and ran up the steps to where Don stood.

Brianne and Chanel arrived just in time to watch Remy and Meg win.

"Damn it!" Brianne cried, throwing their bouquets to the grass.
Meg and Remy greeted Don, jumping with joy.

"Congratulations, ladies. You've won a fabulous prize. You are going on a date with me for an entire evening at a cozy alpine lounge! We'll have dinner, drinks, and dancing. How does that sound?"

"WOO HOO!" they cried, elated with their win.

**Remy, 24 and Meg, 30- "We won! What is going on? Who would have thought!?"

Minutes later a bitterly dissapointed Sharon and Tiffanie joined them.

Don surveyed the girls. "Tiff and Sharon, you are team number two."
"Well, you can't win everything." Tiffanie consoled a sobbing Sharon.
Right behind them came another team. "Third ain't so bad." Chanel said half heartedly as she and Brianne came over.

"Yes it is!" wailed Brianne, crying into her hands.

And twenty minutes later, to the amusement of everyone, Taylor and Kara made it, covered in mud and tears, their clothes ripped, half dragging each other and their smushed bouquets. They looked utterly woebegone.

"We... finished." Kara said, before she and Taylor collasped into a heap, exhausted.

"You two know how to make an entrance." Don said amusingly. "But where are Vita and Taryn?" They waited another ten minutes before the two of them arrived, Taryn looking exhausted and Vita red and angry looking.

"What happened?" Tiffanie asked.

"ARGH!" Vita amswered. "We were doing pretty good when we reached out sixth place, and wouldn't you know, we just couldn't find the darn flowers. We searched high and low, everywhere, but it never surfaced."

"Eventually we had to sit down." Taryn concluded sadly. "I felt terrible giving up on Vita, but this was too hard."

"Well thanks for an amazing day, ladies. I'm sure you all are tired and would like to take a nap or something." Don smiled at them.

And as they drove home, Taylor whispered to Kara, "That's the understatement of the year."

Day 9- An Amazing Race Begins

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

**So when I wrote the next two posts, I was heavily inspired by the amazing race, a super cool show on CBS. Go Brian and Ericka, lol! But you'll see what happens, and if you're confused, I'll explain everything at the end of the next update.

Day nine started off loud.

"LA LA LA LA LA LA!" Remy belted through the house, jubilant at the departure of Hilda.

**Remy, 24- "Revenge is soo sweet! It's great to know Don saw so much more in me than Hilda. Ugh. Just thinking about her makes you want to get checked at the free clinic, doesn't it? I am so thankful for this wonderful, wonderful day! HA!"

The others were not amused.

**Tiffanie, 25- "I try very hard to stay out of trouble. I don't pick fights, and I have been picking and choosing my battles, as well as watching my behavior. Well Remy is really starting to test everyone.

**Brianne, 21- "Try taking a shower with Remy running in every three minutes singing, 'ding dong the witch is dead.' It sucks."

**Chanel, 28- "Remy is just so... so... (wild gesturing) aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgh!"

Sharon recovered the easiest, and made her way downstairs.

"GIRLS! GUESS WHAT?"

"Oooh!" Tiffanie quickly bounded to her best friend's side. "What?"

"Don left us a letter! Do you think I should read it?"

They read it fast and their faces lit up.

"You cannot believe what we're doing today!" Tiffanie exclaimed to the eight other girls. Somewhere in the house, they heard Remy singing "GOODBYE! GOODBYE!"

"This is straight from Don!" Sharon assured them. "We're going Downtown!"

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH screaming insued.

**Brianne, 21- "Finally! A night out. This is so exciting! We're going to have so much fun!"

"Be ready by eight o'clock, and meet me in the game room!"

"THE WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITCH IS DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAD!"

"SHUT UP!"

* * * *

Don greeted the girls. "Good morning!" he said, embracing each woman as they entered, kissing a few. "I thought that since it's down to ten, we should do something extra special."

"You are each going to pick a partner, and then I will give you further instructions. Go for it!"

They ran around the room, discussing the pros and cons of each other. Soon, they split into five teams, all based on friendship.

Taylor and Kara

Brianne and Chanel

Tiffanie and Sharon

Vita and Taryn

and Meg and Remy

Once this was sorted out, the girls were very excited.

"Here's your challenge today girls, and trust me, you WANT TO WIN THIS! It's a very nice reward. Placed at six places around the Downtown area are bouquets of flowers, one for each team at each location. You're job is to get each of them, in order, and find your way around the city, in one day. You will then meet me at the ending location, and deliver the bouquets to me then. The first team back with all six wins."

**Meg, 30- "WHAT?"

**Sharon, 28- "I am so pumped to be teamed with Tiffanie. We are comfortable with one another, and we haven't fought yet. I really feel like, if we come together and stay strong the whole time, we can win! And how awesome would that be?"

"Good luck. I am driving you all to the starting location, and then... it begins!"

**Taryn, 26- "It's just one curve ball after another, but I think I'm up for the challenge!"

And so they headed Downtown.

Day 7- The Fourth Challenge

Saturday, November 7, 2009

**I apologize in advance for the crappy quality and plumbobs in these pictures. This is the last episode they are bad, and then they get better!

Taylor was chatting away on the phone. "Hey girl... yeah... so there's this one girl... Brianne... She has this big problem with me! I think she's really jealous of my relationship with Don."

**Taylor, 24- "Honestly, Brianne bugs me. She bugs me!"

At that moment Don made an announcement. "Good morning! Please meet out on the lawn in ten minutes for your first challenge. Wear a swimsuit."

**Taryn, 28- "Oh no no no. I look horrible in a swim suit. I mean, really fat."

Despite misgivings, the contestants all met out back, by the pool.

**Brianne, 21- "Are you serious? It's freezing out. It's November! What does Don think we're going to do? Get frostbite?"

"Hello." Don greeted them. "Can each of you grab a spot in the pool? I have set up small platforms for you to stand on. As you can tell, these are not very sturdy, and you will have a hard time keeping balance. The last girl standing is the winner, and will win an individual date with me. Good luck."

He walked up to the diving board. "I am now going to go in the pool." Don jumped in.

"This time, I hope none of you join me!" he laughed. "The winner will get an afternoon at the park with me!"

The girls glanced nervously at each other. No one wanted to be the first one to hit the water.

After ten minutes, however, some were shivering. A cold breeze struck them all. "Brrr..." Vita shook, clutching her sides.

**Vita, 26- "I don't care how cold it is. I'm winning a challenge once and for all!"

Remy stared down her rival Hilda, giving her the sort of look that scorches. Hilda stepped forward to retaliate, and her foot met a small puddle. With a cry of suprise, she slipped backward, and fell right into the pool.

"ARGH!" Hilda screamed, rising from the water. "Thanks a freaking lot!"

After a few more minutes, Don swam around the pool, disturbing the water. Each girl struggled to stay on.

Meg, caught off guard, was the next girl out, when she slipped off the front.

Soon other followed suit. Kara was making faces at Taylor, who was giving them right back. "Look what's behind you!" Taylor shrieked, pointing behind Kara.

"Where?" Kara yelled, spinning on the spot and falling right into the pool.

"YES!" Taylor cried. After that, no one looked at her.

Finally, it was down to Taylor, Vita, and Chanel. Vita threw her fist into the air. "Yes! Im gonna win this one!" she yelled, seconds before her leg gave out and she wobbled slightly.
"Whoa... whoa!" Vita yelped as she was thrust into the pool.

**Taylor, 24- "Chanel is never winning!"

Taylor now set her sights on the last remaining girl besides herself. "Hey Chanel! Look over here!" she called out. Back on land, Kara shouted "Taylor! Watch out behind you!"

Taylor turned around quickly, only to lose her balance.

**Kara, 20- "Ha."

All heads turned to Chanel, who had been staring into space. "Congrats!" Don said, swimming over to to her. You are the winner of this challenge!"

"I won?" Chanel looked shocked. "It's over? Thank you!"

**Chanel, 28- "It looks like it's time for a total comeback. Ohhhh yeeeeeeeahhh."
