Day 6- Meg's Date

Thursday, October 29, 2009

Meg hopped into Don's car and avoided the jealous looks thrown to her by all the other contestants.

**Meg, 30- "Well it's not my fault they didn't win the challenge. I want to be nice, but at the end of the day, I'm out for myself in this."

They drove through "downtown" Riverblossom Hills and arrived at the restaurant, Blossom Boulevard.

**Meg, 30- "When I got out of the car, I was already nervous. This could make or break me! And then I was just how magnificent the restaurant was and those nerves were magnified by a thousand."

They sat at their table and began the date.

"It's great to get to know you, Meg." Don started.

"You too. I've been so excited for this afternoon, actually."

"So what is your favorite childhood memory?" Don asked."Oh... um... er... OH!" Meg fumbled. "It was in fifth grade, around Christmas. My date worked alot when I was little, and had missed almost every Christmas..." Meg recovered nicely and finished her story.

"Aw!" Don said, laughing and having a good time. "I have a funny story about that..."

When it came to ordering, however, Meg was again at a loss for words."Um... I'll have... no wait... yes... the lime seared... no... gee." Meg grimaced, aware that Don was watching her every move.

**Meg, 30- "Okay. Here's what happened: I really wanted to pick a food that would make me look good, like I ate healthy, cared about nutrients, but also one that wouldn't say, total bore. I also wanted to pick a flattering food, one I wouldn't spill or make a mess of. It was such a predicament."

However, toward the end, the few slip ups were cast aside, and they really enjoyed each other's company.

"Thanks for a great lunch!" Don said, pulling Meg in for a quick kiss. "I had fun."

"Me too!" Meg gasped, heaving a huge sigh of relief.

Day 5 Evening

Taryn, Wendy, Vita, Brianne, and Sharon were in a heated discussion about their dates, and who they thought Don had kissed.

"Well," Taryn exclaimed, "If he's kissed anyone, i think it would be Taylor. Don's really infatuated with her."

Kara was walking by. Overhearing, she said. "Hey Taryn! Don does not think that Taylor is fat." she walked away, and sat down to play a game of don't wake the llama by herself.

"I had a good date with Don." Vita said. "I think."

"Oh Vita, always doubting yourself." Sharon said.

"I know..." Vita moped.

"My date was a horror." Wendy confided in the girls. "I smashed into him... and oh god, it was terrible." Wendy was distraught.

**Vita, 26- "I do feel bad about Wendy's date going so badly. She's a great girl."

"I also think that Don would have kissed Brianne. He's like in love with you!" Taryn told Brianne.
"Yeah, your so winning right now." Sharon said.

"I agree." Wendy added.

"Aw, thanks girls." Brianne said. "But my date wasn't that good. We're not that into each other yet. Hopefully soon we will bring things, er, up a notch." she concluded modestly.

**Brianne, 21- "Okay, so I lied. My date was fantastic!!! But a little white lie never hurt anybody. They're so nice, and since their dates didn't go too well I felt bad saying how amazing mine was."

At that moment, Kara yelled loudly across the room, "THIS GAME IS TOO HARD!!" and ran confusedly from them all.

That night, they all slept soundly in their beds, pictures hanging above them.

Day 6: Morning

Each girl snoozed quietly. But not for long. At approximately 5:30 the next day, Hilda's alarm clock went off, buzzing loudly.

"What time is it no- no- no- now?" Chanel said, failing to stifle a huge yawn.

"5:30!!!" Meg said, neatly hopping out of bed.

"Why you little!" Remy said, running at Hilda.

"NO!!" Chanel pulled her back. "C'mon, it's not worth it.

By this time others had gotten out of bed, and had taken interest in the fight brewing.

"Just... a warning." Meg said friendly to Hilda. "Watch what you do... I don't want the girls attacking anyone anymore."

"Whateva, honey." Hilda said, smiling at Meg.

**Meg, 30- "Gulp. I'm sick of all this trouble. I'd better stop it."
At breakfast, each of the girls were very suspicious at Don. He was hiding in the back, not socializing with anyone.

Chanel and Taylor were chatting animately about their exercise routines, and Tiffanie and Vita were fast becoming good friends. Funnily enough, Hilda sat alone.

**Hilda, 27- "Whatever. I'm not here to make friends, okay? I don't need these people in my life. I wanna win Donnie, not them."

When everyone was done, Donald had an announcement. "Well, girls, Meg and I will be leaving you. We have a date to attend. While we're gone I have a very special suprise planned for you... enjoy."

Day 5- Individual Dates

Tuesday, October 6, 2009

Right after the fight, the girls, even Don, remained rooted to their spots, mouths hanging open.

Then Chanel went up to her friend Hilda. "Congratulations, girl!" she said, and they high fived.
"Well, anyway, ladies, I have an announcement to make. Today will be the first round of individual dates. Please wait inside the recreation room for me to call your name. Then you will meet me in my bedroom. Each of you will have 10 minutes to impress me."

**Wendy, 23- "Oooh, this is so exciting. Finally, a chance to prove to Don how much I want to be here and get to know him!"

Everyone milled around, waiting for their names to be called. Just then, Don called, "Kara, you're first!"

"Omigosh!" she said, "Taylor, what do I do? I'm so nervous!"

**Kara, 20- "Wow, I'm so nervous! I have a very big fear that I will be terribly."

"Oh, Kara, you'll be fine." Taylor said, hugging her. "You are funny and pretty, your date will be awesome."

**Taylor, 24- "Okay, I know I was helping Kara, but secretly I hope she chokes it. I mean, I'm not here to make friends, and she's doing to well in the competition!"

Kara entered Don's room. "hey" she said. "You look great."

"Hey, babe." Don smiled. "So do you!" They talked this way for quite some time, both interested in what the other had to say. And then Don said, "I'm sorry, but our date is over. I had fun."

Next up was Taylor. "Hi Don!" she yelped, running in and kissing him.
"Oh... hi!" he said. "Would you like to dance?""YES!" Taylor said, and they had a great time dancing together.

Brianne had the third date, and went into Don's room determined. "I've been so excited for this!" she said, and he hugged her lovingly.

Then twirled her around, just enjoying each other's company and classically dancing with one another.

Back in the rec room, Taryn, Remy, and Tiffanie were discussing the challenge."Don't worry about Hilda," Taryn said, "She's a jerk. You're one of the nicest girls here! And a great friend."

"Aw, thanks!" Remy said.

"You should have won that fight!" Taryn smiled, and Tiffanie nodded. "REMY." Don's voice yelled out over the loudspeaker.

"OH!" she said, running upstairs. "How are you?" Remy said, entering. "I'm so sorry-" she began to apologize, but Don kissed her instead.

"Don't worry about it." They spent the rest of the date talking, and found they had a lot in common."I would love to get a dog too!" Don said, and Remy nodded. "They were my favorite animals growing up."

Now, as everyone knows, while some people will have good dates, others will have... bad ones. Don knew there would be a problem when Chanel entered for her one on one time. She sauntered over, and went in for a kiss. Don politely pushed her away. "Sorry. I just don't think we're at that point yet."

Chanel looked highly affronted. "Excuse me, then."

"I just meant that I want to get to know you a little better before we kiss."

"Well, whatever you say."

They spend their time speaking about the weather.

Hilda was still upset about the fight at the challenge, and it showed during her date. For the first time ever, she was quiet.

Don felt bad, and threw her a compliment to break the ice. "You look great in those gym clothes."

"Well, everyone knows how fabulous I am." Hilda giggled, and she was off, blabbering the whole time about herself.

Vita walked in, kissed Don's hand, but then quickly fizzled.
She just couldn't think of things to say. Don couldn't help but think of kissing the other girls the whole time.

Meg came in, and Don noted that she looked cute in her clothes as well. "Hey handsome." she said, turning on the radio, and dancing around.

**Don, 30- "The problem with Meg's date was that she was the most forgettable. Not good news at all."

Sharon was very endearing, joking around and flashing a smile. But when she mentioned kissing, Don found himself making excuses to not. He also checked his watch every minute.

**Don, 30- "I'm just not sure how much I am naturally attracted to Sharon."

Taryn's date would have gone well, had it not been for the fact that her outfit made her look exceptionally big, to Don's disapproval. "So how do you like the other bachelorettes?" he asked, averting his eyes. However, other than that, they found many things to talk about, from television to gossip and even to sports. They had fun.

**Taryn, 29- "I'm not so sure about my date. He seemed really distracted."

Wendy, however, took the cake for an unqualified disaster. She walked in, tripped, and smashed, head to head, into Don."What the-" he exclaimed, as Wendy fell to the floor, and Don spun, clutching his forehead. Wendy wasted the rest of her time apologizing profusely.

At the end, she hugged him awkwardly and then ran out.

Finally, Tiffanie was up. She came up to Don, and then lost her words. "Um..."

"How about you tell me a little about yourself." Don asked.

"Okay." Tiffanie answered. "I am a librarian, and I work with children, mostly. Um..."

"Anything you want to open up about?"

"Well, I had a rocky childhood. My mom wasn't a very good mother." and then she was off, telling her whole story, about her mom's addiction, her father's death when she was only 3, about how at six she was taken away my a social worker and put in foster care, never to see her family ever again. She finished, crying in his arms.

"Come here, he said, hugging her. "Just sit with me. It's okay."

**Don, 30- "I was very impressed by Tiffanie. She opened up, but what was more, she trusted me. It was the biggest compliment any of them could have paid me, and she delivered."

Going back and reading through this (I played this challenge last year) made me realize how awful my writing was! However, in newer posts, it gets much better! I'd like to think my writing and screenshots have inproved since then. Thanks for reading. These dates were really funny. Chanel started arguing with Don! And Remy and Don were kissing the whole time, and Tiff started crying out of no where, so I wrote her story around that. I'm so inspired by these ladies!

Day 5- The Third Challenge

Friday, October 2, 2009

The next day began early, with the alarm clocks going off at six.

"Ugh." said Tiffanie, rolling out of bed.
**Meg, 30- "Waking with the girls every morning is the funniest thing. There's so much going on at once, people are running around crazily, and its just hysterical. We all get like, zero hours of sleep around here. So we look like zombies!"

Meg carefully made her bed while those around her ran downstairs to the dining room. Each girl wanted to sit next to Don at the table. Chanel hopped out of bed, and realized she was no wearing enough to go downstairs in.

"Oh, crap!" she said, pushing past Wendy ("hey!") and over to the dressers.

**Wendy, 23- "Stupid Chanel."
After breakfast, the girls met out on the lawn for the third challenge of the competition.

"Why hello, ladies!" Don began, smiling. "Good morning!"
"Good morning!" they all chorused back.

"There are twelve treadmills before you. Each of you will choose one. Which ever girl can stay on the longest will win a private date with me tonight."
The girls cheered.

**Tiffanie, 25- "ohhhhhhhhhhh! That's such a good prize! I really hope i win it!"

"But," Don continued, "there's a twist. The treamills will be set to a pretty fast speed, and the challenge will be to see who can not fall off!"

"Omigod!" Sharon yelled.
"Each of you grab a treadmill."
**Kara, 20- "I don't really know about this. I'm not exactly what you would call the most fittest person."
Each girl stepped onto a treadmill, and the challenge was on!

As soon as they started, however, Wendy yelled, "No way!" and hopped off.

Don came running over. "Are you alright?" he asked.
"Yes, I'm fine." Wendy replied. "This is just not for me. I'm out."

Don was clearly miffed. "Okay, fine."
Soon after, a few girls fell. Sharon caused the most fuss when her sleeve got caught in the side of her treamill, causing her to fall and go flying backward. "OH LORD!" she yelled, while everyone laughed good naturedly.

Meanwhile, the friends Taryn and Brianne were trying to psych out Chanel, who was placed right between them.
"Hey! look over here!" Brianne said, and Taryn waved frantically behind Chanel, trying to throw her off balance. Chanel looked both ways, and stumbled, but managed to keep her footing. Brianne and Taryn collasped into giggles, which turned into groans as they both fell at the same time.

"HA!" Chanel cried.Soon it was down to only a few girls. "YES!" Tiffanie yelled happily, looking around and seeing only a few girls. But her happiness was very shortlived.

Now it was down to Vita, Chanel, Taylor, Meg, and Remy. Next out was Taylor.

**Taylor, 24- "Damn! I went into this one so confident! Aw man!"

Next out was Remy, leaving only Vita, Meg, and Chanel.

"Yes! I'm finally going to win one! Vita cried, seconds before painfully slamming face first into the treadmill.
**Wendy, 23- "Oh, poor Vita. She was such a failure today!"
"C'mon, c'mon!" Chanel panted to herself, while Meg began to nervously glance at Chanel. "It's just us!"
Finally, with a scream, Chanel went flying off the end of the treadmill, as Meg stepped off triumphantly.
"Wow. Who knew you had it in you?" Taylor exclaimed, running up.
"I didn't." Chanel commented, dusting herself off. "Congratulations! You won!" Don told her. Be ready at six tonight!"
**Meg, 30- "It feels great to win this challenge. I feel really confident, and I'm very excited. This was the extra push i needed in the right direction. I'm gonna win this."
Later, the girls began to talk among themselves about the challenge."Wow, I can't believe Wendy quit!" Taryn whispered.
"I don't think it'll hurt her chances or anything!" Brianne answered. "She's too charming for that."
"I knew Remy wouldn't win." Hilda sneered loudly. "She's really not good at anything."
"THAT'S IT!" Remy cried, marching up to Hilda and slapping her across the face, much to Don's horror.
"Girls!" he cried."This ends now!"
Hilda yelled something inaudible, and jumped on top of Remy, ripping at her hair.
"AAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Remy cried, and they rolled around on the grass, while Don tried to break it up.
"Take it back!" Remy screamed, catching Hilda in a headlock.
"Stop talkin' smack about me!" Hilda gasped.
"Enough is enough!" Don cried, as Hilda kicked Remy high in the air.
"Hmph!" Hilda cried, while don dragged her away, and a crewman took Remy off to another corner.
"This is ridiculous." Don cried. "I am appalled.
**Brianne, 21- "Insane! Simply insane!"
* * * *
Too funny! Remy and Hilda autonomously torturing each other almost every night! And some of the girls cheer, and some get worried, but Don freaks out, stamping his feet and waving his arms.
